All group members are deserving of respect and love. Please speak with consideration for others and try to avoid causing offence where possible. If you are offended by what someone has said in the group, please do not address it in the group. Message them directly to resolve the issue or report it to an Obedience leader if needed.
80% Jesus - 20% Other Stuff
Betwen 6 am and 9 pm the discussion should be focused on topics related to Christianity and edifying topics that build people’s knowledge of the faith, such as: “What does this Bible verse mean?” or “What is the benefit of fasting?”.
Other topics, like relationships, politics and current affairs etc. can wait until after 9 pm. People who consistently promote inappropriate topics or prolonged meaningless conversations may be cautioned. You are free to banter and joke but please do so with consideration.
Inappropriate Content
Sexually explicit or violent images, videos, or conversations are strictly forbidden. Anyone found in violation of this rule may be cautioned or removed from the group chat. If in doubt please ask an Obedience leader for advice before posting anything you are unsure about.
Promotion & Advertising
We all have things that we’d like to promote but we ask that you please avoid directly promoting in the groupchats. All requests for promotion must be sent to the Promotions Assistant, Rochelle and she will post the promotion in the group on your behalf. Her details are available in the groupchat.
